The AOC brand has come up with two new displays, the Gaming U27G3X and U32G3X. The two models are quite similar, although there are some differences between them.

U27G3X: IPS and UHD, all in 27″!

AOC Agon U27G3X/BK - AOC Agon U32G3X/BKThis monitor is equipped with a 27″ IPS panel. The latter is responsive, with a frequency of 160 Hz and a low latency of 1 ms. What’s more, it displays in very high resolution, since it’s a UHD reference, 3840×2160 for the record.

For the moment, we don’t know the full technical specifications. However, we do know that this is a VESA DisplayHDR400-certified screen. What’s more, it offers 96% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It also supports NVIDIA G-Sync and Adaptive-Sync technologies.

U32G3X: not quite the same, but in 32″!

With the U32G3X, we find a similar monitor, still equipped with an IPS panel displaying in UHD. However, it’s a little less responsive, as refresh rate drops to 144 Hz. That said, latency is still 1 ms gray-to-gray.

Once again, the full specifications are not known. Consequently, we don’t yet know this model’s brightness or contrast. But we do know that it will cover 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, a little less well than its 27″ counterpart. Once again, NVIDIA G-Sync and Adaptive-Sync technologies are present.

Pricing, availability:

Of course, UHD displays equipped with a responsive IPS panel are not cheap. The U27G3X is priced at £499.99, with availability scheduled for mid-November. The 32″ will cost £649.99, with availability in mid-December.
