Turtle Beach, formerly Roccat, has announced a new mouse, the Kone II, and its wireless version, the Air. If you’ve got big hands and like RGB everywhere, then this model should appeal to you.
Kone II / Air: Turtle Beach’s new mouse!
With this new reference, the brand announces a rather imposing mouse measuring 82.6 (W) x 130.2 (D) x 43.6 (H) mm. As for weight, this model is rather light, weighing 90g on the scales in its wired version. The wireless model weighs 110g, the extra weight being due to the battery.
Internally, we find Titan optical switches with a lifespan of 100 million activations. The Owl-Eye sensor boasts a sensitivity of 26,000 DPI, a speed of 650 IPS and can withstand accelerations of 50g.
The wireless model is equipped with a battery offering 130 hours of wireless autonomy and 350 hours of Bluetooth autonomy.
In terms of functionalities, we’d like to highlight the presence of a 4D thumbwheel with side clicks. Of course, the RGB part can be controlled by SWARM 2, while the EasyShift function lets you double the number of shortcuts by pressing a single button. Last but not least, these references benefit from PTFE glides for easy gliding.
Last but not least, prices are set at $69.99 for the wired version, versus $119.99 for the Air version.
