If you follow the GPU news, you probably know that the RTX 4090 uses an AD102 GPU. However, the latter, although being the largest chip of the generation, is still incomplete. Out of the 144 SM of the GPU, only 128 are active, leaving a little room for NVIDIA to release a new card. Speaking of new cards, this one could be called the Titan RTX. A monstrous card if we believe the YouTube channel Moore’s Law is Dead.
Titan RTX: a full AD102 GPU and a four slot card?

For this ultimate card, NVIDIA would turn to an AD102 GPU with all its active SMs, or 144. Ditto, this translates, de facto, to a number of Cuda Core pushed to 18432. On the other hand, the brand could opt for even faster GDDR6X memory. The latter would then reach 24 Gbps allowing a total bandwidth of 1152 GB/s. As for the quantity, we would be entitled to a massive amount of VRAM: 48 GB! In short, compared to the RTX 4090, the amount of RAM is doubled when the bandwidth is increased by 14%!
Regarding the heatsink, we would have the right to a massive block occupying 4 slots in a PC. As always with the 2018 RTX Titan , there would be touches of gold on the fairing. Finally, the greens would continue to offer their in-house cooling system with two fans on either side of the radiator. On the other hand, Moore’s Law is Dead claims that the proposed renderings are based on real photos of the card. And the card is in a very advanced state of development, so much so that it looks like a finished product. However, don’t expect custom models, only the Founder Edition will be offered… Like all Titans so far.
Finally, for the power supply, we would have the right to a double 12VHPWR connector in 12+4 pins, just to multiply by two the fire risks (we are making fun of it a little). On the other hand, with a power consumption limit of 600W, this would explain this… To be put in opposition to the 450W of the RTX 4090. In short, the little GeForce pales in comparison.
On the other hand, it doesn’t seem that NVIDIA is ready to launch this card soon, so tongs, etc.
