Some time ago, the Thermaltake brand launched a series of watercooling kits Floe RC Ultra. As a reminder, these were kits designed to cool both the CPU and the RAM which was the ToughRAM RC. Well good news, since this series is now available in DDR5!
ToughRAM RC: the series is available in DDR5!
The Thermaltake brand offers us DDR5 memory kits that can work in conjunction with the AIO Floe RC Ultra. For that, the kits have a heatsink allowing the assembly of the AIO on the bars, something which is impossible with competing kits.
Regarding the characteristics, the brand highlights sets of 32 GB in dual channel (2×16 GB). In terms of frequencies, three variants are proposed with sets of 4800 MT/s, 5200 MT/s and 5600 MT/s. Of course, the timings and voltages will change depending on the frequency:
- 4800 MT/s: 40-40-40-77 for 1.1V
- 5200 MT/s : 38-38-38-76 for 1,15V
- 5600 MT/s: 36-36-36-76 for 1.25V
Of course, we also find the support of XMP3.0 for a parameter setting without headache.
Now, it only remains to know how much this new series of memory kits will cost. In the meantime, the Floe RC Ultra series AIOs are listed at the brand’s store at $419.99 for the 240 mm against $449.99 for the 360 mm.
