If you like large screens, with the new ThinkVision P49w-30 from Lenovo, you will clearly be served. Indeed, just before CES, the Chinese brand unveils a massive 49″ monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 5120 x 1440. We have the equivalent of two QHD screens in a single model.

As we said, we find here a wide screen with a 32:9 display format. This model displays a resolution of 5120 x 1440, the equivalent of two QHD models side by side. On the other hand, the reactivity is rather basic with 60 Hz only.
In terms of display, we find a brightness of 350 nits coupled with a contrast ratio of 2000:1. Similarly, it offers a coverage of 98% of the color range DCI-P3.
Regarding the connectivity, we find the essential HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4. With this, we can count on a dual Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and 5W speakers.
Obviously, the brand does not orient its product for gamers. However, to facilitate the operation it will be possible to modify the behavior of the screen so that it behaves like two QHD monitors.
For the price, you should count around $1699 for this curved IPS reference at 3800R.
