Thermalright announces a new cooler, this time compact since it has a small fan in 92 mm. Nevertheless, this does not prevent the Assassin X 90 SE from having an off-center base.

With this model, we have the right to a compact heatsink. In terms of dimensions, we find a set showing 94 (W) x 52 (D) x 118 (H) mm without the fan. Still without the fan, the weight is 360g, not enough to tear a socket of motherboard.
Nevertheless, this model benefits from an off-center base in order to limit the impact on the memory. From this base, a total of four 6mm copper heatpipes are mounted in direct contact with the CPU.
The ventilation is provided by a 92mm PWM powered TL-G9B mill. This will run up to 2400 rpm at full speed. At maximum, the air flow will be 43 CFM while the static pressure will reach 1.51 mmH2O.
The compatibility of the sockets is necessarily limited to the so-called ” mainstream ” platforms. It will therefore be compatible with the LGA-1700/1200/115x and theAM5/4.
