T-Force GA Pro: a PCIe 5.0 x4 SSD from TeamGroup!

Teamgroup T-Force GA ProThe brand is opting for the classic SSD format with M.2 2280 models. Here, a single sheet of graphene acts as a heatsink. Before moving on to performance, We shall note TeamGroup has chosen an InnoGrit IG5666 controller.

However, what interests us here is the interface chosen by the brand, which opts for PCIe 5.0 x4. This should enable high data rates on these models. The 1TB version already boasts 10GB/s read and 8.5GB/s write speeds. It’s worth remembering that these figures relate to the 1TB version of the SSD; those for the 2TB version are not yet known. Finally, in terms of endurance, we are at 600 TB, and we can expect 1200 TB for the 2TB capacity model.

All that’s left is to find out the retail price, although PCIe 5.0 SSDs are still expensive, so we can expect a bill of around €150, which is the same as Corsair’s MP700 Elite, which boasts similar speeds.

Here’s the TeamGroup product sheet!
