Sharkoon is back with the announcement of new enclosures. On the programme are the MK6 RGB and AK6 RGB. These two models share a similar aquarium look, but with a slight difference in format. While the first is in ATX, the second is in micro-ATX format.
AK6 RGB: the case in ATX format!
The AK6 is our first reference in ATX format. The dimensions here remain fairly compact at 225 (W) x 435 (D) x 485 (H) mm, while the weight is 6.1 kg.
Internally, there is space for an ATX motherboard and a 410 mm graphics card. The power supply and CPU cooler are 235 mm and 170 mm respectively.
Up to nine fan grinders can be fitted as standard. As for watercooling, the radiator support extends to a maximum of 360 mm.
Otherwise, in terms of options, this model boasts integrated graphics card support and support for backpanel motherboards.
The MK6, the micro-ATX version!
With the MK6 RGB, we find a similar reference, at least in spirit. In fact, we also have a case with an aquarium-type design. However, its dimensions are more compact: 225 (W) x 435 (D) x 445 (H) mm.
Naturally, compatibility with components is also reduced, particularly for the motherboard, whose maximum supported format is micro-ATX. As for the graphics card, it still has a clearance of 410 mm, and the same applies to the CPU Cooler and power supply, with 170 mm and 235 mm respectively.
The standard ventilation only features three fans, compared with four for the other model. Finally, while the case can only support eight 120 mm fans, it is still compatible with 360 mm watercooling radiators.
