Sapphire launches three motherboards in China!

Even though it’s time for the X870(E) chipset and soon the B850, the brand is launching motherboards in B650, chipsets dating from the launch of the Ryzen 7000. However, this slight time lag means that the brand can be very aggressive on price. Well, that depends on the model.

In short, the Nitro B650I WiFi is the first card in the mini-ITX format. This card has everything you need to set up compact configurations. In terms of connectivity, we have our first PCIe x16 4.0 slot. The memory section features two DDR5 DIMMs handling memory at 6000 MT/s, while the storage section uses four SATA and one M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4.

Finally, there is an 8-phase, 2-phase 70A power supply, all mounted on an 8-layer PCB. Other rear connectivity features include 5 Gbps Ethernet, WiFi and USB-C at up to 20 Gbps.

With this, we can also count on the Pulse B650M and B650M WiFi models. If the two cards are identical, we’ll remember the addition of WiFi on one of the two models. Otherwise, you can count on a power supply with 7+2+1 phases of 60A power. Other than that, the connectivity remains basic, with a PCIe 4.0 x16 paired with a second PCIe x4 4.0. There are also two DDR5 DIMMs supporting memory at 7400 MT/s, four SATA DIMMs and two M.2 DIMMs. Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC897 chip, while networking is controlled by a Realtek RTL8111K.
