Ryujin III, new version for the Asus AIO!


Asus updates its Ryujin series of watercooling kits with a new version. This time, it’s the Ryujin III, the AIO which opts for an 8th generation Asetek pump and in-house fans for the RGB model. Don’t panic, the non-luminous version still has Noctua fans, phew!

Asus Ryujin IIIWith this series, the brand continues to put forward a massive LCD display on top of the pump. Here, we are dealing with a 3.5″ screen whose resolution is not yet known. However, Asus says it has doubled the memory capacity dedicated to it. We can now display .gif heavier, longer with a better fluidity via a refresh of 60 Hz.

Otherwise, we always find a fan mounted on the pump. The latter helping to cool the power stages of the motherboard. The com’ of the brand indicating that we can gain up to 35 ° C on them.

Of course, the 8th generation Asetek pump is compatible with Intel LGA-1700/1200/115x and AMD AM4/AM5 sockets. And as we have seen with the Ryuo III tests, the latter is easy to install!

Regarding the ventilation, we have two choices with the NF-F12 Industrial-PPC 2000 or the home-made ROG MF-12S with RGB lighting. With the Noctua, we have mills running up to 2000 rpm generating an airflow of 71.6 CFM and a static pressure of 3.94 mmH2O.
With the MF-12S, the mills run at 2200 rpm while generating 70.07 CFM of airflow and 3.88 mmH2O of static pressure.
