Some time ago, Asus unveiled a new series of limited-edition components. Indeed, the Taiwanese brand was back with Evangelion components. We could discover them when they were announced or during the Asus event at Gamescom. This time, it’s the graphics card that’s the talk of the town, the RTX 4090 Evangelion, with a retail price known in China!
RTX 4090 Evangelion: €2,300 in China!
As a reminder, this card is based on the RTX 4090 Strix from Asus. It’s a real monster, with a three-fan heatsink occupying three slots. However, this version stands out for its Evangelion design. This time, Asus pays tribute to the EVA-02 unit. As a result, the board adopts a color theme based on red and yellow. We’ll also be treated to illustrations by Asuka Langley Sōryū, the unit’s pilot.
Based on the RTX 4090, we then find a massive amount of memory with no less than 24 GB to count. It remains to be seen at what frequencies this monster will run. In the meantime, the price will be no less than 17,999 yuan, or around €2,300 after conversion. For the time being, orders will be placed via JD.com, but beware of customs fees in the event of importation.
