Last month, we told you about a very special graphics card. Indeed, NVIDIA presented its RTX 4000 ADA, a pro card, but with an ultra small format. The card in question is called SFF(Small Form Factor) and is offered in a dual slot half-height format. You should know that this model is listed at a retailer for more than $1400.

The RTX 4000 Ada, the mini pro card from NVIDIA is listed at over $1000!

NVIDIA RTX 4000 ADAWith this card, NVIDIA’s goal is to offer a professional card, but with a reduced size. The bet is successful since this model displays dimensions of 16.7 cm in length for a height of 6.8 cm. This is a half-height dual slot card.

Under the hood, we find a GPU AD104 containing 6144 cuda core distributed in 48 SM. We have, roughly speaking, a configuration between an RTX 4070 Ti and an RTX 4070. However, the memory part is radically different since we find 20 GB of GDDR6 ECC based on a 160-bit bus. The memory bandwidth here is 280 GB/s.

In terms of raw performance, this little model shows 19.2 TFLOP in FP32, similar performance to the RTX 3070. Nevertheless, the pro card has the advantage of low power consumption since it is self-powered by the PCIe slot on the motherboard. No, there is no auxiliary power connector, no need with a 70W TBP! However, this constraint weighs on the memory frequency which falls to 1560 MHz.

Finally, the card is displayed at the retailer shopblt.com at some $1444.22. It remains to be seen how the price will evolve as this model becomes available in the market.
