Thermalright has announced the arrival of its new Royal Pretor 130 CPU coolers. These are available in two different versions: one with a fairly basic segmented digital display, and a “Digital” version with a full 3.95-inch screen mounted on top. Otherwise, both versions share the same base, featuring the same heatsink and the same fans.
Royal Pretor 130: One CPU cooler, two variants!
A dual-tower cooler!

This cooler is a substantial model measuring 130 (W) x 140 (D) x 165 (H) mm. Both models feature a dual-tower radiator with a nickel-plated C1100 copper base. However, the base is not offset, so you’ll need to be careful about compatibility with your RAM. It also includes six copper heat pipes, each 6 mm in diameter.
Cooling is provided by two fans: a 120 mm TL-H12-X28-R9 and a 130 mm TL-HD13-X28. Both are 28 mm thick. As for their specifications, Thermalright states:
- TL-H12-X28-R9:
- Speed: up to 2,400 rpm
- Airflow: up to 98.2 CFM
- Static pressure: up to 2.48 mmH₂O
- TL-HD13-X28:
- Speed: up to 1,750 rpm
- Airflow: up to 81.88 CFM
- Static pressure: up to 2.38 mmH₂O
Finally, in terms of compatibility, this heatsink can be easily mounted on Intel LGA-115x/1200/1700/1851/2000sockets as well as AMD’s AM4 and AM5 sockets.

Two different displays:
What sets this series apart is that it comes in two distinct models. The first, the Vision model, features a 3.95″ display. It offers a resolution of 480×480 and can display monitoring information related to your CPU, as well as animated or still images. Customization is done via Thermalright’s dedicated software.
The second model, called “Digital,” is much more basic and features a segmented display similar to what you’d find on an alarm clock, for example. It will only allow you to monitor CPU temperature, power consumption,CPU frequency, or memory usage.
For now, Thermalright has not yet announced the retail prices.
