With this new model, we find a reference in standard ATX format. The board also has a LGA-1700 socket and an Intel W680 chipset. The board is therefore ready to host an Intel Core i processor of twelfth and thirteenth generation.
Otherwise, concerning the memory, we have the right to four DIMM slots in DDR5. They will be able to accommodate ECC and non-ECC memory up to a maximum of 128 GB. As for the maximum supported frequency, we have 4800 MT/s.
The rest of the connectivity includes two PCIe 5. 0 x16 connectors (8x/8x) as well as two PCIe 3.0 x16 (in x4) and a small PCIe x1 3.0. The storage part has three M.2 connectors in PCIe 4.0 x4, but also four SATA. A Slim SAS connector in PCIe 4.0 x4 completes the process. It can be used to give access to four additional SATA III if desired.
At the back, we have a rather full connectivity based on HDMI, DisplayPort and even VGA. There are a number of USB ports, as we have the right to two type A ports in the 2.0 standard, four ports in 3.2 Gen1 type A and two others in the 3.2 Gen2 standard, one in A and the other in C. There are also two Ethernet for the network in Intel 2.6 Gb. Of course, the card benefits from IPMI functions via an ASPEED AST2600A3-GP chip.
