A quick look at processor cooling with the Prime LC aRGB series from ASUS, announced at Computex. With this series, the brand is offering us rather affordable, but above all rational kits with a touch of customisation!
Prime LC aRGB: the new ASUS kits are here!
This series includes two references alongside the LC 360 and LC 240. Respectively, these are AIOs with 240 mm and 360 mm aluminium heat sinks.
However, the series is distinguished by a number of interesting features, such as pre-mounted fans. For cabling, a splitter is also offered to reduce the number of fan sockets occupied on your motherboard, which is always practical.
Otherwise, from an aesthetic point of view, the pump unit offers two covers with an infinite depth effect. The first, more sober, displays an ASUS logo with small dots all over it. The second features the Prime series logo with various borders.
While the product data sheets are available on the ASUS website, unfortunately the detailed specifications are unknown. What we do know is that the pump will be mounted on mainstream platforms such as AM4/5 or LGA-1851/1700/1200/115x.
Prices are set at $115 for the 240mm model and $132 for the 360mm, with availability already in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In all cases, production will be in Germany, if our colleagues are to be believed.
