Last August, Corsair announced its intention to enter the world of gaming desktops. The company unveiled its Platform:6, an imposing but above all modular model. In short, the case is now available for pre-order, and the prices are breathtaking!

Platform:6, expect to pay at least €1,170 for the desktop!

This desk is a rather imposing model, with a top measuring 180 cm wide and 76 cm deep. Two colors are available: black melamine or an elegant walnut finish. By default, three configurations are available:

  • A standard, fixed version.
  • A standard model with adjustable height
  • The height-adjustable Creator Edition

The standard models come with the bare minimum, i.e. an offset socket, a basket for storing cables and extension cords, and a double articulated arm for your screens. The Creator version is far more complete, incorporating Elgato’s multi-frame. This allows you to mount your streaming equipment, such as lighting, via the adapters supplied. Likewise, several shelves are available to accommodate speakers, for example. Finally, the perforated panel comes with various hooks for attaching accessories.

As this model is modular, several accessories are available. These include power strips (3 sockets) for €62.23, desk extensions with perforated plates for €229.90, cable guides for €62.23 and the Elgato Multi Frame for €339.90. All prices on the Corsair website!
