If you opt for this screen, you’re clearly going to need a huge amount of space on your desk. After all, a 49″ screen 1.20 m wide isn’t easy to wedge in. And that’s because of its large 32:9 format slab displaying a resolution of 5120×1440, all at a frequency of 240 Hz and a latency of 0.03 ms gray to gray. What’s more, it’s curved at 1800R for greater immersion – in short, the very best.

In terms of display, the OLED panel boasts a high contrast ratio of 15,000,000:1, while typical brightness is 250 nits. In HDR mode, brightness rises to 450 nits, and can reach 1,000 nits at peak. Of course, viewing angles are 178° both horizontally and vertically. Philips has also announced DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.

On the color side, we learn that the slab is configured with a Delta E <2. As for color gamuts, we have 99% DCI-P3 coverage, 125.2% Adobe RGB and 153.1% sRGB.

Last but not least, there’s a stand for height adjustment. As you can imagine, with such a width, portrait format is not possible. As for connectivity, there are two HDMI 2.1s, followed by DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C in DisplayPort alternative.

The price, of course, won’t be cheap, coming in at €1,899.
