Swiss brand Arctic announces a new fan: the P8 Slim. This little mill is intended for certain SFF-type cases or others, more imposing like Silverstone’s Grandia GD11. In fact, it features two small 80 mm slots at the rear!
P8 Slim: a small 80 mm fan!
The program features a particularly fast fan, capable of reaching 3000 rpm. However, these speeds are quite common on this format. However, at full speed, the fan will generate an airflow of 22.5 CFM and a static pressure of 2.35 mmH2O.
As with the other fans in the P series, this one benefits from a frame similar to that of the P12 or P14. However, it does not feature rubber silentblocks to attenuate vibrations. As for the blades, there are nine of them, with a fairly wide profile.
On the connector side, we find a basic black flat cable (400 80 mm) terminated by two PWM sockets, one male and one female. The aim is to connect the fans in series. It’s a system designed to reduce the number of sockets on your motherboard.
Finally, let’s talk price: just €7.99 from Amazon.
