Head over to Noctua’s X account, which has published a new teaser for a future product in the chromax.black range. In fact, the teaser shows a simple black fan. Given the company’s current roadmap, it can only be the NF-A12x25 G2 chromax.black.
Noctua tases the NF-A12x25 G2 chromax.black :
The fan goes black:
Since last year, Noctua has been renewing its product catalog and offering new-generation fans. Initially, there was the NF-A14x25 G2, followed by the 120 mm version. Along the way, a black version of the 140 mm mill was introduced, as well as a chromax.black version of the NH-D15 G2. But until now, the NF-A12x25 G2 had remained in its original colors: brown/beige.
In any case, there’s always a delay of several months between the launch of the original version of a product and the black model. The company explained why in this article, but broadly speaking, it has to do with the behavior of the pigments added to the fan’s polymer.
Features in brief:
In broad terms, the NF-A12x25 G2 is a high-end fan that aims to be versatile. It is a smaller adaptation of the NF-A14x25 G2. The latter features unique blade shapes, a machined hub, a very small gap between the frame and the blades – in short, a concentrate of technology.
The product sheet mentions a speed range from 0 to 1800 rpm, with a maximum airflow of 63.15 CFM and a static pressure of 3.14 mmH2O. An LS or low-speed version is also available, with a maximum speed of 1100 rpm. Naturally, airflow and static pressure are impacted.
In view of the timing, we can expect this new version to be exhibited on the brand’s stand at Computex.
