Last week, we learned that some customers had seen the shipment of their ASUS RTX 5090 Matrix (discovered at Gamescom) delayed. Speculation was rife with claims that the cards had been recalled because of a problem. Today, ASUS is speaking out, and the brand is reassuring us that there has been no recall campaign. Secondly, it’s just a shipping delay, and the aim? To improve quality as much as possible!

” There is no recall for the ROG RTX 5090 Matrix. We have decided to adjust the original timeline to allow more time to make improvements to the product to ensure an optimal user experience. The products will arrive at our partners in the coming days. Availability may vary from region to region.

With this card, ASUS is offering us a limited-edition anniversary model. The card pays homage to the very first Matrix based on the 9800 GT and HD 4650, so everything has to be beyond reproach. It’s for these reasons that the brand takes its time, taking the utmost care with its products to enhance the user experience as much as possible. The brand also indicates that the cards will be arriving with their commercial partners in the next few days. Of course, given the limited availability of these cards, not everyone will be entitled to them. On the other hand, certain regions will have more or fewer cards for resale.
While some people seem to be talking about a recall, obviously a general one, for our part, we’ve only heard of a few cards being recalled for a few customers. All in all, whether it’s the whole herd of cards or just a few, as ASUS spoke, these rumors are no longer valid.
