Mycro Direct-Die RGB Pro V1: a direct-die waterblock for Intel CPUs!

The aim of this product is to seriously cool down your Intel processor. To do this, it bases itself on the principle of direct die cooling, so to use it, you need to mount it on a processor from which the IHS, the famous metal capsule, has been removed. This way, the silicon chip will come into direct contact with the copper base of the block.

Furthermore, to maximise cooling performance even further, Thermal Grizzly indicates that you can apply liquid metal without any problem, as the copper base is nickel-plated, so it is not affected by the gallium often used in this type of TIM.

In short, this is a second waterblock of this type for the brand. To mark the occasion, the company has announced that it has reduced temperatures by 6°C compared to the first model. To achieve this, the network of micro-fins has been improved and now includes many more: 43% more! Alongside this, a new flat jet has been introduced to maximise flow, allowing you to run the pump more slowly: more silence in prospect.

As for the rest, the base is made of nickel-plated copper and the upper part of anodised aluminium. Finally, between the two, an acrylic section is used to diffuse the aRGB lighting controlled by a 3-pin header.
