After the discovery of an RTX 5070 Ti in Austria, it’s now time for French prices. In fact, Cybertek and GrosBill are already displaying a number of MSI models, including the Vanguard and Gaming Trio series. GrosBill even goes a step further, listing an Inspire card, a model similar to ASUS’s ProArt series!
MSI RTX 5070 Ti listed in France for over €1100!
As you can see, our French resellers will also be a tough pill to swallow… Moreover, their prices are very similar to those of MediaMarkt. On the other hand, Austria also uses the euro, while the VAT rate is very similar to France’s – 19% compared with 20% for us. So in itself, this is no surprise.
Be that as it may, both retailers are offering the same cards at the same price. This is logical, as GrosBill and Cybertek are part of the same group, so their prices are equivalent. So, to buy a 5070 Ti from MSI, you’re looking at around €1,150 at the very least. At these prices, we can get our hands on Inspire 3X and Gaming Trio OC Plus models. The Vanguard series is more expensive, costing €50 more.
In short, the pricing is very different from that displayed on the NVIDIA site for its Founders Edition versions. On the Chameleon site, the official French price is €884, while here, the first models offered by MSI cost €265 more. Although these cards are expensive, MSI should also have ‘ MSRP ‘ cards. These should take the form of models from the Ventus series, a range known for being more affordable. In fact, this series offers a less elaborate heatsink, uses a less complex PCB, even a reference PCB, and the materials used are less premium.
