At the beginning of July, we told you about a new RTX 4090 equipped with a blower fan. The card in question came from MSI and, good news, it’s now on sale. Indeed, the vendor 3DStore is offering this RTX 4090 Aero for purchase, but by contact only.

Once again, NVIDIA isn’t too keen on these solutions, quite simply because they can compete with its professional products. As we’ve seen, depending on the application, a €1,700-1800 4090 can stand up to an ADA RTX 6000 at over $6,000. So to propose blower solutions where several can be fitted in a system is a no-go!
Nevertheless, this design, while allowing the easy integration of several cards in a configuration, does have some major drawbacks. These include noise and the high temperatures reached by this type of card. However, the blower is also the most efficient cooling system for multi-card configurations, without the need for watercooling.
In short, this model is available from 3DStore.com, although no price is given. To acquire such a model, you’ll need to contact the retailer to find out how much it will cost. Otherwise, the card has been spotted on eBay at a price in excess of $3000… Sometimes, you’ve got to stop pushing!
