MSI offers us a new custom card that could be confusing. Indeed, the Taiwanese brand offers us an RTX 3060 Ti Super Suprim. So no, it is not an RTX 30 “Super” but a name related to a custom card! Under the hood, it is a 3060 Ti but equipped with memory in GDDR6X.

While the RTX 4060 Ti is due to arrive next month, MSI has decided to offer a new custom version of the 3060 Ti. Thus, the brand customizes the version equipped with GDDR6X memory and does it in a beautiful way. Indeed, this card is none other than a Suprim version, the top of the range for MSI.
So certainly, the card smells a little bit of recycling because of the presence of the old logo on the backplate of the card. But, we still find an imposing heatsink with three fans and two large blocks of aluminum fins.
As for the chip, it’s a classic 3060 Ti with its 4864 cuda core, 152 TMU and 80 ROP. In this case, the card operates at the same frequencies as the Gaming X Trio version of the brand, namely 1875 MHz. However, it is equipped with a faster GDDR6X memory: 19 Gbps instead of the 14 of the basic version.
