MSI offers us a new motherboard with its MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi. It is a new board for AMD processors. However, it comes with a basic compatibility with Ryzen 7000X3D.

With this card, MSI offers us a model in ATX format. For the occasion, it is equipped with an X670E chipset and an AM5 socket. In addition, the card comes with native support for the latest processors from AMD, the famous Ryzen 7000X3D.
In addition, we find a card equipped with enough connectivity to build a good small configuration. There is a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, a second x16 slot running at the 4.0 x4 standard and a last one running at PCIe 4.0 x2. Finally a small PCIe 3.0 x1 completes the whole.
The memory part focuses on four DDR5 DIMMs supporting up to 128 GB of memory clocked at 6600 MT/s.
For storage, we will have what it takes with SATA III. Four M.2 are also present with the first port being able to work in PCIe 5.0 x4 while the other three will be in PCIe 4.0 x4.
The rear connectivity offers DisplayPort, HDMI and a BIOS Flash button. All this is completed byUSB-A 3.2 Gen2 (5 Gbps) x4,USB-A and C in 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gbps) x1,USB-C 3.2 Gen2 (20 Gbps) x1, the audio and network part. Moreover, for the Ethernet, we have the right to a Realtek RTL8125BG chip in 2.5 Gbps and audio in Realtek ALC1200.
Finally, for the power supply, we find a dual EPS12V CPU connector in 8 pins. And the card has 14+2+1 power supply phases.
