Ryzen 9000: more information?
We’ve already seen 8- and 6-core variants appear in leaks. It seems that motherboard suppliers already have early test samples of the Zen 5 Ryzen processors. These are provided by AMD to enable early support of the chips, including all the necessary BIOS settings. This helps AMD and its partners to resolve early bugs and problems with the platform.
When can we expect a ZEN 5 presentation?
If all goes according to plan, we could have the first official presentation of the Ryzen AMD Zen 5 Granite Ridge processor family at Computex 2024, scheduled for early June. AMD has scheduled a keynote address for the opening of Computex. Many observers are therefore speculating that the new Ryzens will be launched at that time.

While rumors have multiplied, there are still many grey areas surrounding the multiple variations of Zen 5. Ryzen 9000s will be launched alongside a new chipset and new generations of motherboards.

As we saw with the AM4 socket, AMD is seeking to capitalize on its policy of platform stability.
