MSI announces its Gaming Trio White in RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti!
MSI offers us cards with its own heatsink, the famous and impressive Tri Frozr 3. The latter is equipped with three Torx 5.0 fans with blades connected three by three by a hoop. Otherwise, the heatsink benefits from a copper base cooling the GPU and memory chips. Finally, we will find a set of elements aimed at reinforcing the structure of the card such as a baseplate and a backplate also helping to cool.
In terms of frequency, we must distinguish between the Gaming X models and the non-X versions. What changes is mainly the operating frequency. Thus, the non-X versions run at reference frequencies when boosted, while the 4080 Gaming X displays 2595 MHz compared to 2745 MHz for the 4070 Ti.
The connectivity part still has a 12VHPWR power connector. As for the video outputs, we are dealing with a single HDMI 2.1a and three DisplayPort 1.4a.
For the moment, we do not know the price of these cards. However, we imagine that they should be similar to the original cards. As for the availability, it is set for this month of February.
