This monoblock is exclusive to the MSI MPG Z590 Gaming Carbon. On the aesthetic side we find on the visible face in acrylic molded and machined by CNC, D-RGB LEDs (digital addressable) compatible with the software MSI Mystic Light. We also find inside a small turbine acting as a flow meter (purely visual). In terms of technical characteristics, the monoblock is part of the Quantum Velocity family , with a nickel-plated copper base. It is presented as designed to target hot spots and be an ideal solution for high overclocking, without affecting the flow of liquid in the rest of the loop.
With the monoblock comes the mounting system as well as EK-TIM Ectotherm thermal paste and thermal pads so it can be mounted on the motherboard without additional purchase This monoblock is finally the one of the MSI MPG Z590 CARBON EK X of which you can find our test here if you want to make an opinion. This gives MSI MPG Z590 Gaming Carbon + monoblock = MSI MPG Z590 CARBON EK X. For an advertised price of 189.90€, it’s better to go for the MSI MPG Z590 CARBON EK X if you were planning to buy the new monoblock motherboard combo. However the sale of the monoblock can be interesting for an upgrade or a replacement.
