Lian Li offers us a new batch of fans with its AL V2. It is about fans in 120/140 mm, but proposing an unconventional thickness. The goal is to maximize performance!
AL V2: 28 mm thick fans from Lian Li!
With its new fans, the brand offers models in 120/140 mm. However, they are rather thick: 28 mm against 25 mm usually. Moreover, the frame is cut to be compatible with the standard screws of watercooling radiators, so don’t panic.
These fans always propose a system of connection in series via a connector directly integrated into the frame. You can therefore create several groups of fans that will connect to a control box via a single connector.
The management of the ventilation will then go through this famous controller which benefits from a software control. In this case, it is the L-Connect 3 suite that takes care of fan management. It will allow you to manage the lighting, the speed and even to leave the management of the speed to the motherboard if needed.

- AL140 V2 :
- Speeds: from 250 rpm to 1600 rpm

In terms of price, the 120 mm fan costs €27.90 per unit compared to €89.90 for a pack of three. In 140 mm, the bill climbs to 30.90 € per unit … Ouch. As for the colors, we have the choice between black and white.
