The Lexar brand, which supplied us with hardware for the TweakLeague, has just announced new memory kits. On the programme is Ares RAM, which operates at very tight timings , since we’re talking about a CL26. And it’s all aimed at AMD platforms, especially the Ryzen 7 9800X3D!

Clearly, the brand’s memory kits stand out for their very tight timings. In fact, these new Ares RGB kits benefit from very low latency in CL26. The announced timings are therefore 26-38-38-68, all for an operating voltage of 1.45V and a frequency of 6000 MT/s.
The brand’s marketing goes even further, announcing improved low 1% framerates. Via Videocardz, we learn that this improvement can be as much as 10% compared with kits running on a CL30, for example. What this means in practice remains to be seen.
Be that as it may, here we have a memory kit with a capacity of 32 GB on two memory sticks (2×16 GB). The unit also benefits from impressive heat sinks with an RGB lighting system. You’ll just have to be careful about the size of your CPU cooling system, otherwise you won’t be able to fit the memory.
As far as prices are concerned, this RAM is available from JD.com, so you’ll have to go through the import process to get it. Beware of customs duties on arrival, but it may be worth the trouble as the kits are priced at 899 yuan, or around €120 after conversion. Lexar also offers its memory in black and silver.
