This morning we also learn that Akasa is launching a very small fan on the market. And very small is the word, believe us because the KS7 of the brand measures only 16 mm in height … Yes, yes, 1.6 cm high! It’s only if the VRM heatsinks of the motherboard are not more cumbersome!

KS7 : 16 mm height for the small Akasa fan!

Akasa KS7As you can see, our heatsink of the day is clearly simple. Indeed, it is a simple aluminum block in which are machined a total of 64 fins. For a better finish, we have a completely black set.

However, the most important thing for us is the ultra-compact dimensions of this model. Indeed, it is 85 mm wide with an ultra low height of 16 mm and a weight of 105 g! At least, with this model, you are ready for mini-ITX configurations!

Moreover, as we can see, we have a fan directly embedded in the aluminum fins. This fan will run from 2200 RPM to 4000 RPM and will generate an airflow of 24.61 CFM and a static pressure of 3.76 mmH2O.

In spite of everything we have just said, Akasa targets its heatsink at motherboards with LGA-115x and LGA-1200 sockets. With its maximum supported TDP of 35W, we can still install a Core i9 underneath… Finally, the Core i9 10900T and i9 11900T with their TDP of 35W.

Finally, the price is unknown, however, given what is proposed there, it would be surprising to see it land at more than 20 €.
