New fan for the Chinese manufacturer Jonsbo who offers us its HX5230. We find there a rather compact model landing in a 120 mm format with a slim radiator. The presentation is always as neat as you can imagine.

HX5230: a slim single tower cooler in 120 mm!

Jonsbo HX5230With this new heatsink, the Asian brand puts forward a model measuring 128 (W) x 75 (D) x 158 (H) mm and weighing 708g on the scale. The aesthetics are always neat with a completely black treatment on the fins, heatpipes and even the fan. The upper part still has a nice flat top in brushed aluminum with the brand logo.

The structure of the radiator is simple: a stack of aluminum fins crossed by five copper heat pipes. These have a diameter of 6 mm and meet at a nickel-plated copper base. Moreover, the latter seems to benefit from the same treatment as the HX6250 tested here.

On its side, the ventilation is assured by a mill of 120 mm fed by PWM. It will work from 700 rpm to 1800 rpm, rather high for aircooling. Moreover, at full speed it generates an air flow of 83.04 CFM and a static pressure of 2.68 mmH2O.
