At Computex last May, we were able to lay our eyes on a new case from Hyte. The brand presented its X50 case, an original reference with rounded panels. The same goes for the rounded side glass, which extends to the top of the case. Pre-orders are now open, so the launch is just around the corner.
X50: pre-orders open for Hyte’s case!
The first thing you’ll notice is that the case is available in several rather interesting colors. In addition to the classic black and white, there’s also purple, pink, red and green. This model also offers an unusual aesthetic, with all its curves as can be seen.
Internally, it’s not the usual layout either. Here, the card tray sits beneath the power supply cover. The layout is similar to that of the Antec P120 Crystal, but this case offers plenty of room for an ATX-format motherboard.
For the graphics card, there’s plenty of room: 430 mm in length versus 170 mm in height for a CPU cooling unit. As for ventilation, this model features support for ten 120 mm fans, with the option of mounting 360 mm watercooling radiators. These slots are located at the bottom of the case, on the side of the motherboard and at the front. At the rear, a single 120 mm slot is available.
In short, all this is available for pre-order on the brand’s online store. Two versions are on offer, one with a glass side panel, the other with a mesh panel called the X50 Air. For the price, expect to pay $159.99 and $129.99 for the Air version.
