A new cooler from Cooler Master: the Hyper 212 Pro. This new version is announced as being capable of dissipating up to 230W. That’s quite a lot for a heatsink of this size.
Hyper 212 Pro: dissipate up to 230W!
In itself, the basis of this model has been known for a long time, since it’s a classic 120 mm cooler with four heat pipes in direct contact with the CPU. With dimensions of 125 (W) x 74 (D) x 152 (H) mm, this compact unit will fit easily into many cases.
The design is neat, with a top cover featuring the series markings. In addition, a black coating is applied to the entire radiator. The fan features aRGB lighting on the blades, diffused from the central hub.
Ventilation is provided by a single 120mm fan. This will run at up to 2,500 rpm, which is starting to be important for aircooling. However, to achieve such a high cooling capacity on a base like the Hyper 212 Pro, there’s no other choice. Finally, we’d like to mention an airflow of 70.7 CFM and a maximum static pressure of 3.61 mmH2O.
At present, no price is known, we simply know that this heatsink is intended for LGA-1700/115X, AM5 and AM4 cards.
