New version of HWiNFO, the famous monitoring software. In this version v8.16, the software gains support for AMD’s future CPUs/APUs and Intel’s future GPUs. Naturally, we’re all thinking of Battlemage for the GPU and the Kraken Point and Strix Halo chips for AMD, although these elements are not explicitly named.
HWiNFO: what’s new?
The big news here is, of course, support for future AMD CPUs and APUs as well as Intel GPUs. However, the software also offers improved sensor monitoring for new-generation MSI motherboards in particular. There are also a number of other patches and improvements:
- Added support for Cybenetics Powenetics PMD.
- Improved support for the next generation of AMD CPUs and APUs.
- Improved drive letter reporting.
- Improved NGU frequency report.
- Improved reporting of CKD parameters on CUDIMM RAM.
- Correction of NVIDIA dedicated GPU monitoring with new drivers.
- Corrected monitoring of eSIO sensors when concurrent applications are active.
- Personal licence cannot be used in domains (considered commercial use).
- Improved reporting of V/F curve parameters.
- Improved sensor monitoring on MSI Z890/B860/H810 motherboards.
- Memory module name added to DIMM sensor header.
- Added display of global min/max values on the right of the vertical axis of the OSD graph.
- Lunar Lake support improved.
- NPU tile count report added.
- The OSD reflects the number of decimal places set in HWiNFO.
- Improved support for next-generation Intel GPUs.
