Yet another lucky person who managed to snag a RAM kit at a bargain price at a secondhand store. In fact, Redditor JuniTheFox says he was in the store when he spotted a 2 × 16 GB Kingston DDR5 memory kit. The price was exceptionally low: €12.50 for a kit that currently sells for over €500!

Just for the record, the 2 × 16 GB Kingston Fury Beast RAM at 6,000 MT/s costs a crazy amount of money these days, as they say. When you see that the user paid just €12.50 for this kit, you can’t help but think it’s probably a pricing error. In fact, on price comparison sites, a kit with the same specs sells for between €500 and €580. Even last year, when the RAM was “only” worth €150 new, this would have been a golden opportunity.
In any case,kudos to him for his find: he’ll be able to upgrade his PC, build another one, or make a nice profit by reselling the kit.
Of course, these days, we can only recommend that you check out one of these stores: there might be a good deal to be had… However, you should still be cautious, especially given the condition of some of the hardware.
