We stay in the strange motherboards with the proposal of the brand Onda. The Chinese brand offers its H610M+, a micro-ATX card with DDR4 and DDR5 slots at the same time!
H610M+: a card equipped with DDR4 and DDR5 memory slots!
With this new motherboard, the Chinese brand offers us a micro-ATX model. This board is positioned on the entry-level sector as evidenced by its H610 chipset.
However, this model is distinguished by its memory configuration. Of course, it only has two DIMM slots, however, if one is DDR4-3200, the second is DDR5-4800. This leads to a drawback: the memory only works on one channel.
The rest of the connectivity includes a small PCIe 3.0 x1 and a x16 connector. By the way, this connector works with the 5.0 standard, making this card the first H610 model to run in PCIe 5.0.
The storage part remains quite basic with a total of three SATA connectors and a single M.2 in PCIe 3.0 x4.
At the back, the Onda card has four USB type A, a PS2 combo, an HDMI video output and a second one in VGA. We end quickly with the audio where we know that a Realtek ALC897 chip is at work. On the other hand, for the network part, it is the total vagueness.
As for availability, this card may only be available on the Asian market. As for the price, nothing has been said about it.
