Geekom has announced a new mini-PC, the GT1 Mega. This new series comes with an Intel Core Ultra processor, as well as the fourteenth-generation i Core. However, we will be highlighting the presence of a dual network interface. This extends the possible uses of this machine.
GT1 Mega: Core Ultra and a dual network interface!
With this new mini-PC, Geekom is offering us an ultra-compact machine measuring just 135 x 132 x 46.9 mm. The construction is meticulous, with an aluminium casing. And if you want, you can mount it behind a screen using a VESA bracket.
What interests us most here, of course, is the device’s specification sheet. The programme includes a Core Ultra 9-185H or Core Ultra 7-155H processor… But 14th-generation Core i-based configurations are also on offer. As for memory, up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM at 5600 MT/s is available, while the storage capacity is up to 2 TB via PCIe 4.0.
Connectivity is comprehensive, with four USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, a headphone socket and a power button on the front. At the rear, we find the power socket, two USB-A (one of which is 10 Gbps), two USB-C Thunderbolt 4, two HDMI video outputs and two 2.5 GbE network interfaces. This dual interface allows the PC to be used as a firewall, router, etc.
Prices range from $899 to $999.(On sale currently, add 100$ on RRP)
