On the occasion of Gamescom 2024, currently taking place in Cologne, MSI announces the arrival of an RTX 4070 SUPER graphics card to celebrate the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft. It’s a “Gaming SLIM” model, with a backplate featuring illustrations from the game. In fact, there will be no less than 2 x 5 different backplates offered by MSI. If you pay close attention, there will be 5 “left” parts and 5 “right” parts that you can assemble as you wish, increasing the number of possible combinations! They’re magnetic, so can be easily fitted to your graphics card. You’ll need to ensure good air circulation inside your case, as this may interfere with the GPU’s heat dissipation.
This MSI RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming SLIM measures 307 x 125 x 46 mm, occupies 2.5 slots and features a cooling system with three fans. As far as frequencies are concerned, the Boost is announced at 2475 MHz, but it will be possible to overclock it very slightly to 2490 MHz via the MSI Center software.
The price of this special edition of the MSI RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming SLIM World of Warcraft is not yet known, but it should be available in limited quantities at the end of August.
