Phanteks launches its last case on the market: the G500A. It is a new model, rather high-end, intended to accommodate rather muscular configurations. In the batch, we will quote, in particular, a support of the radiators of watercooling in 420 mm!
G500A: a high-end Phanteks case !
First of all, you should know that we find a rather imposing case with its 240 (W) x 515 (D) x 500 (H) mm. Its steel/mesh/tempered glass construction makes it quite heavy with 10.68 kg on the scale.
On the other hand, this makes it compatible with motherboards in E-ATX format in particular. As for the graphics card, we have enough space to accommodate a 435 mm card. An Asus RTX 4090 Strix will fit without too much trouble! Finally, on the CPU side, we have up to 185 mm of free height!
However, the most interesting thing is the watercooling compatibility with a 420 mm radiator support at the front. Otherwise, at the top, we will be limited to a maximum of 360 mm against a small 120 mm at the back. On the other hand, at the level of ventilation, we can have fun by installing up to seven mills in 120/140 mm. Three slots are available in the front and in the top against a last one in the back.
With this, the case offers options for a clean cable management with, among others, velcro strips and a steel cover system. The RGB version offers, in addition to three bright fans, two small strips integrated into the case.
For the price, it will be necessary to count at least 139,90 € with the RGB version without fan. Then we go up crescendo, 159,90 € for the Performance Black model, with four non-RGB fans. And finally we finish at 169,90 € with the white and black RGB versions.
