New screen at MSI which announces its G321CUV, a new reference with a curved slab. But that’s not all, since it also displays a high resolution while claiming to be HDR Ready.
G321CUV: a curved VA screen at 1500R!
With this new screen, MSI announces the arrival of a monitor with a 32″ VA panel displaying a UHD resolution (3840 x 2160). Moreover, the latter is curved at 1500R, however, the reactivity is unfortunately not there. Here, we must count on a basic frequency of 60 Hz and a latency of 4 ms.
On the display level, the brightness remains quite classic since it is 300 nits. However, the contrast is a little more pronounced: 2500:1, justified by the HDR Ready certification. On the color side, we have the right to a coverage of 103% of the range sRGB against 78% of DCI-P3. Finally, for the viewing angles, we remain on 178 ° horizontal / vertical.
As for the feet, the same observation as for the TUF Gaming VG249QM1A with an up/down tilting foot in -5°/+20°. The connectivity displays a DisplayPort 1.2 and two HDMI 2.0. There is also a hub with two USB 2.0 ports, a USB-C (charging possible) and a jack.
