MSI launches a new reference of screen with its G271CQP E2. It is a model intended for the players offering a good reactivity of 170 Hz as well as a low latency… While being curved!
G271CQP E2, a screen 170 Hz and curved!
On the program, MSI regales us with a new screen equipped with a VA curved slab at 1000R of 27″. The screen displays a QHD resolution of 2560×1440, a 16:9 format. In addition, game screen, the responsiveness is required since we find a frequency of 170 Hz. Ditto for the latency which is low with its 1 ms (MPRT).
On the display side, the brightness will be quite classic since it is 250 nits. Ditto for the contrast with its ratio of 3000:1. Otherwise, it offers a coverage of 110% of the color range sRGB against 85% for the DCI-P3. Finally, it is HDR Ready.
As for the connectivity, this model has a DisplayPort 1.4 that we will have to exploit if we want to enjoy the 170 Hz because in HDMI, we will be limited to 144 Hz. Obviously, there does not seem to be an integrated USB hub. On the other hand, we have the right to a headphone output. Let’s not forget to mention the adjustable stand in all directions as well as the VESA 75×75 compatibility for an articulated arm!
The launch is scheduled for January 26 at a price of $329!
