An American-style incident…
In a nutshell, in the middle of the night, angelbabyzz was woken up by a gunshot and shards of glass falling on him. He wasn’t the victim of an armed robbery, just his neighbor’s negligence—and, apparently, his dog, which reportedly set off the gunshot. Fortunately, the incident didn’t result in any casualties, as the situation could have quickly turned tragic.
In any case, it appears the user’sPC deflected the shot, and the bullet ended up lodged in one of the machine’s RAM modules. In this case, the system in question was a G.Skill Trident Z RGB. As can be seen, the memory heat sink is completely bent, the motherboard has a hole in it, and the DIMM slot is completely bent. In short, significant damage that rendered the PC unusable.
Insurance should cover everything!
Obviously, after the gunshot, the neighbor came over to apologize, panicked and trembling. He said he would cover the costs not covered by insurance. In any case, it’s said that it took three days to remove all the glass shards from the room, while the insurance company is offering $3,500 in compensation.
