There’s a little news from Arctic and its range of products for professional installations. The brand is unveiling its Freezer 4U-SP5 ventirad, a new reference for rack servers and SP5 sockets!
Freezer 4U-SP5: a little pro news from Arctic!
This heatsink measures 124 (W) x 147 (D) x 145 (H) mm. These dimensions allow it to fit into 4U high racks.
The most striking feature is the large number of copper heat pipes, with a total of ten. These are divided into two groups of five at base level. The aim here is to cover the CCDs of the Epyc processors on which it is mounted as much as possible. These heat pipes will also come into direct contact with the processor.
Ventilation on this side takes advantage of two 120 mm fans. These will run from 300 to 3000 rpm. At maximum speed, airflow will reach 81.04 CFM, while static pressure will rise to 4.35 mmH2O.
Finally, Arctic offers us solutions at a price that’s always well thought out. In fact, this new CPU cooler is priced at just €64.99. Clearly, other manufacturers cost more.
