Silverstone treats us to two new cases, the Fara 514X and Fara 512X. While the first is in mid-tower format, the second is much more compact. It adopts a mini-tower format for micro-ATX motherboards!
Fara 514X: the bigger of the two!
With this model, the brand announces a reference with the following dimensions: 220 (W) x 458.6 (D) x 492.7 (H) mm.
Quickly, inside, we have room to install :
- Motherboard: ATX, micro-ATX, mini-ITX
- Ventirad: 168 mm high
- Graphics card: up to 394 mm long
- Power supply: up to 217 mm deep
The case arrives with four 120 mm fans with RGB lighting installed as standard. Nevertheless, it boasts a total of seven 120 mm slots. As for watercooling, we’ve got supports for radiators up to 360 mm.
Fara 312X: the smallest!
The 312X features a more compact case, measuring just 220 (W) x 412.5 (D) x 410 (H) mm.
Inside, motherboard is now limited to micro-ATX, mini-DTX and mini-ITX. While CPU cooler support has been improved to 173 mm, the graphics card (max. 365 mm) and power supply (max. 170 mm) are slightly reduced.
Otherwise, it still comes with three fans fitted as standard, two in 140 mm and one in 120 mm. If required, two additional 120/140 mm slots can be found at the top. As for watercooling, the radiator support stops at 280 mm.
For the moment, no selling price is known. But given the series, we don’t expect any big bills either.
