It was to be expected and it is now, EK has just announced a new partnership with MSI to offer an EK-Quantum MSI MPG X670E CARBON EK X motherboard. This is a collaboration that has been going on for several years and we are lucky enough to review these models regularly.
But back to this future MSI MPG X670E CARBON EK X. This series is characterized by the presence of a monoblock in charge of keeping the processor and the power supply stages cool. On this new version, the monoblock is extended to keep not one but two M.2 SSD slots cool.
The monoblock is designed to fit perfectly with the design of the MPG X670E Carbon card. It also has an integrated flow meter and temperature sensor. This will allow users to have precise control over the temperature of their liquid cooling loop.
The one-piece base is nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is CNC-machined cast acrylic glass. The screw-in spacers are nickel-plated brass and pre-installed for easy installation. The MSI MPG X670E CARBON EK X EK-Quantum motherboard is available for pre-order through the EK online store. It should be available in mid-November for a price close to 850 euros.
