From MSI, we learn that the brand has released a teaser for a new series of components called Draco Epic. We’re talking about AMD and Intel motherboards with a particularly present and detailed dragon theme. The company is also preparing a high-end laptop with this theme. Clearly, the aim is to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary, right before Computex!
Draco Epic: a series of anniversary components for MSI!
Based on MEG ACE motherboards!
Broadly speaking, this series of Draco Epic motherboards is based on the original design of the brand’s MEG Ace models. For the moment, no technical specifications appear to have been communicated by the company, but the brand’s MEG Z890 Ace and MEG X870E Ace are clearly distinguishable. However, the theme has been greatly modified, with the company featuring a magnificent Nordic dragon drawn on the card’s main shield. MSI 40 Anniversary branding is also present above the socket.
If specifications have not been specified, we expect them to be at least in line with those of the original boards with, perhaps, better support for RAM… Perhaps. In any case, we’re expecting modified packaging with bundle elements exclusive to this edition.
Just in time for Computex!
Obviously, timing is important here, as next week marks the start of Computex, which runs from Tuesday to Friday. Naturally, we’re expecting to see the cards on display on the brand’s stand, but that’s not all. The company is also preparing a big laptop with this Draco Epic visual, based on the Titan 18 HX, which is said to feature a Core Ultra 200HX CPU and an RTX 50, probably an RTX 5090 Mobile. In any case, the laptop ‘ s visual strongly evokes the Norse Myth unveiled last year at CES.
