New screen at Dell which announces its very big U4924DW. We have to deal with an ultra wide model which proposes a diagonal of 49″. Same thing concerning the resolution since it displays a DQHD resolution.

With this new screen, the brand puts the package with an imposing model. It is a model offering a very large diagonal: 49″. As for the resolution, it is not in rest with its 5120×1440 pixel (DQHD). It is as if you had stuck two 1440p screens side by side.
That said, this is not the only feature of this panel as it is IPS in addition to being curved at 3800R.
In terms of display, we are entitled to a frequency of 60 Hz with a response time of 5 ms. Otherwise, we can count on a contrast ratio of 2000:1 with a brightness of 350 cd/m². The color gamut promises a coverage of 100% of sRGB, 98% of DCI-P3 and 100% of Rec.709. Finally, the viewing angles are 178° and a Delta E below 2.
Connectivity highlights two HDMI, one DisplayPort and one USB-C. Of course, a USB hub of four ports to the 3.2 Gen1 standard and three USB-C 3.1 Gen1 allowing a power supply of 90W.
Now, pay attention to the dimensions. Mine of nothing, it’s a good guy that measures 121.4 cm wide while weighing 16.3 kg.
For the price, you’ll have to count more than 1100€.
