Today, a little news from be quiet! which announces a new top flow model. Our model of the day, succeeds a model released six years ago… six years ago, yes, yes, it’s already six years since the Dark Rock TF was released. You will have understood, the German brand launches its Dark Rock TF2, an update of its heatsink !
Dark Rock TF2: the next generation, six years later!
Clearly, it is not because we are dealing with a top flow that this model is compact, oh no! Indeed, this new model displays 163 (W) x 140 (D) x 134 (H) mm. Despite everything, it remains a little more compact than the first model by a few millimeters. However, it gains in weight, from 810 g to 945 g.
However, you will have noticed that the structure of the radiator remains the same with a double stack of aluminum fins. The same number of heatpipes will be found: 6x of 6 mm. With this, the finish seems clean with a completely black coating and a first fin in brushed and anodized aluminum.
As with the first version, the ventilation consists of two 135mm Silent Wings fans. In terms of speed, the first one will be faster than the second one: 1400 RPM against 1300 RPM for the middle fan. Unfortunately, with be quiet! we are used to the hole card since the static pressure and airflow are not given. Nevertheless, the fan will be able to wring the neck of 230W TDP!
We now finish with the selling price which will be 85,90 € with an availability fixed on August 10th. Finally, we know that the warranty will be three years!
