NVIDIA today released a new GeForce Game Ready driver for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty that gets GeForce gamers ready for the launch of NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction technology in Cyberpunk 2077 on September 21, 2023.

DLSS 3.5 makes its debut on September 21:

This coincides with Cyberpunk 2077 ‘s 2.0 update, which will bring a number of enhancements, including DLSS 3.5. We’ve had access to this update for a few days now, so we’ve already been able to carry out a few tests.

In Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode, DLSS 3.5’s new ray reconstruction technique improves the quality and clarity of reflections, overall illumination is even more precise and lighting is more dynamic, for an even better, more immersive and more realistic experience. This option has now been added to the game settings.

Users of the GeForce RTX 40 series can benefit from all the performance and image quality enhancements DLSS 3.5 has to offer, including performance-multiplying image generation for the fastest frame rates in Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode.

As you can see, the “DLSS Image Generation” and “DLSS DLAA” options are available in the graphics options.

And in terms of performance?

Here are the tables proposed by NVIDIA in the announcement e-mail concerning 2160p definition in “Overdrive” mode.

We also carried out tests with our ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 4090 OC and obtained an average of 23.95 FPS without DLSS and 112.08 FPS with DLSS 3.5. As you can see, the gain is enormous. We’ll be back very soon with a more complete article, including the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and screenshots of the various modes.
